Buckingham Fountain Chicago

  I went to Navy Pier yesterday and walked around Buckingham Fountain, too. The weather was a complete dream and I even ate a churro sundae and had photo-booth photos taken at Navy Pier. Successful day off! Of course it wouldn't be spring without me taking tons of photos with the flowering trees, now would it? :)

The Chicago Lincoln Park Conservatory Flower Show was amazing! I can't believe admission into this gem of a greenhouse is FREE! Easily one of my favorite places in Chicago by a landslide! I highly recommend visiting here if you're in Chicago ♥.

Marguerite Gardens: My favorite places in Chicago

I visited Marguerite Gardens in Andersonville, Chicago a few weeks ago after having breakfast at The Bongo Room across the street! This is one of my VERY most favorite flower shops I've ever been to! The selection and the color coating made it absolutely magical- I don't think I've ever seen so many varieties in one flower shop at one time! I was thrilled to stumble upon this gem. They charge $20 a stem for King Proteas- OH HOW I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE ONE! Would you enjoy visiting a huge flower shop like this one? It smells so fresh and fragrant in there!! xo

Visiting Woolly Mammoth in Andersonville, Chicago

 My friend Elliott and I visited Andersonville a month ago (or so) and I had been hearing about this antique shop called Woolly Mammoth. It's not very big, but it's definitely worth a visit! It cracked me up that they had plastic baby arms in the mouths of taxidermied fish. They really do have some very interesting things. I was particularly interested in this huge book of records from the Milwaukee Hospital for the Insane and the huge giraffe! 

Definitely go check out the Woolly Mammoth in Chicago's Andersonville if you get a chance. There's also an adorable ice cream shop around the corner called George's Ice Cream which I loved!

Favorite places in Urbana-Champaign: Jarling's Custard Cup

Custard Cup is one of my most favorite places in Urbana-Champaign to get something sweet. It's not too expensive and it's an independently owned business that's really unique and fun! What's not to love? If you're ever in the area, I really recommend visiting! I love the peach custard in a waffle cone (that's what I got in this photo!)

This is my friend Stanley Lee and he owns a vintage shop in Champaign, IL located on University Ave. We have been talking about collaborating for quite some time now, and I wanted to introduce you to him and his shop so you get a sense of his style.
