Today was a day in which I definitely indulged myself. I knew I would be up pretty late packing boxes and organizing my apartment for my move to New York City. I woke up and had this *strange and unusual* craving to go to the mall, which I never want to do. I went to Sephora and bought the orange lipstick I am wearing in these photographs  and also this dress. I've been really getting back into Bollywood music lately, and I highly suggest listening to the "Eena Meena Deeka" track at the end of this post! It will make you perk up immediately! :)

Charles Gowin for Paulie Antiques Spring 2013 Bow Tie Collection

Today my friend Charles and I went on a bow tie adventure to the Japan House and shot photos of him wearing my latest handmade Paulie Antiques bow tie. It was such a beautiful day and being with Charles is always fun because of how silly he is. Thanks for taking a look at my latest bow tie design!

TOTAL ART Exhibition at Indi Go Gallery!

Last night was the opening of a collaborative art show called TOTAL ART in which my artwork was displayed. My friend Denisa created the event and gathered the artists to make a film consisting of interviews. I was a little nervous during my interview... but I think the film turned out really well. Each artist's artwork was then displayed on projectors throughout the gallery after the film had shown. It was wonderful to get more exposure and meet more people and talk to them about my process! I also managed to make a sale.. which was super encouraging! :D

Valentine's Day: Get your man something unique at Paulie Antiques!

I've been thinking about Valentine's Day a lot, lately.... and I decided to make a new bow tie inspired by Valentine's Day. My friend Benji Frazzetto was kind enough to wear my new Blue Eyed Bow Tie that is now for sale at Paulie Antiques (made to order). I would also LOVE to chat with you about the man in your life and whether or not he'd wear a bow tie! I am very interested to know!

Nico Brown for Paulie Antiques Spring 2012!

I want to introduce you to my handsome model, Nico! He was kind enough to walk in my Paulie Antiques runway fashion show a few weeks back wearing this exact outfit. I made the bow tie and styled the suitcase as well as styled his outfit (but I didn't have to do much, he's already so stylish!) Thanks for everything, Nico! Have a great summer!

Ben wearing Paulie Antiques!

We're starting a band.... obviously! Haha.

This is my adorable friend, Ben wearing a bow tie I made for Paulie Antiques. I am styling him for an Impulse Magazine shoot soon and this was a great little practice we had to warm up to the shoot. He is a featured artist in Champaign-Urbana and he is one of my most amazing friends. I love him to death. He loves bow ties and can't wait to wear one that I design just for him! I'm going crazy thinking of designs and we picked out fabrics for his bow tie today :)
